Thoresby Vale
Overview: Ongoing delivery of 220 units for Barratt & David Wilson Homes, built on a former colliery site. Mix of housing association and private sale plots.
Key challenges: Complex foundations (deep trench, vibro piling, steel ring beam) and mid-project design changes due to Part L regulation updates.
Our approach and outcome: Worked closely with the client to redesign and switch to block & beam floor systems. Ensured full NHQB compliance without slowing site progress. Currently contributing to another 3 NHBC Quality Awards with results expected late 2025.

Overview: 124 timber-framed units on a sulphate-heavy site for Barratt Homes.
Key challenges: Poor ground conditions, tanking requirements, and the need for Spantherm floor systems to suit timber frame construction.
Our approach and outcome: Delivered multiple foundation types, managed Heaviseal tanking works, and ensured all NHQB documentation and photos were provided to spec.

Overview: 58 David Wilson Homes plots next to The Meadows site, on an extremely tight site footprint.
Key challenges: Tight access, deep foundations, high sulphate levels, and strict site management requirements.
Our approach and outcome: Delivered a full foundation and muck management package. All works Part L and NHQB compliant from the start, including block & beam floors and screed finishes.

Roman Ridge
Overview: A premium development of 13 luxury homes delivered in partnership with Ardent Homes & Designs, featuring traditional block & beam construction and a full R&S package.
Key challenges: Located in a conservation area surrounded by TPOs, the project demanded sensitive material choices and eco-conscious design, including a sustainable permeable paving system.
Our approach and outcome: We worked closely with stakeholders to maintain the site’s integrity while delivering a full groundworks and bespoke landscaping package, showcasing the full breadth of our capabilities.

Overview: 6-phase, 1,000-home development completed over 14 years for Barratt & David Wilson Homes.
Key challenges: Mixed ground conditions and long-term consistency in delivery.
Our approach and outcome: Delivered trench foundations, vibro piles, and suspended slabs. Helped the site win 17 NHBC Quality Awards and a Seal of Excellence. Also supported nomination to the Barratt Champions League.

Overview: David Wilson Homes site adjoining Manor Farm with a higher-spec housing range.
Key challenges: Larger homes with faster handover targets, and MoD plot allocation.
What we did: Delivered a combination of trench and vibro piled foundations. Met all MoD handover requirements on time and helped secure additional NHBC awards during the build.

Saxilby Heights
Overview: Rescue project taken over mid-build from a previous contractor on behalf of Taylor Wimpey.
Key challenges: Inherited disorganised, unsafe site with partial works and missing documentation.
Our approach and outcome: Reorganised and secured the site, assessed existing work with Taylor Wimpey and utilities, and completed all plot works, swales, and SUDS pond. Delivered road and footpath remedials for adoption.

Overview: 100-plot hillside development in Louth for Lovell Homes.
Key challenges: Severe water management issues and changing site conditions due to weather.
Our approach and outcome: Amended the programme to capitalise on dry weather, installed boundary drainage, and diverted water into the site’s SUDS system. Regained full programme sequence without delay.

Our approach and outcome: Installed deep trench foundations and Spantherm floors. Delivered a full SUDS system and completed a council graveyard extension and commemorative Fallen Garden tribute.

Our approach and outcome: Resolved multiple live site issues through clear communication with all stakeholders. Completed all groundworks ahead of programme despite restrictions.

Key challenges: Poor ground, concrete piles, environmental protection for local newt population.
Our approach and outcome: Installed complex ring beam foundations over pile caps, managed clay heave protection, and maintained perimeter newt barriers with full compliance during Natural England inspections.

Overview: 9 raft foundation bungalows on a tight cul-de-sac site.
Key challenges:
Poor access, restrictive working hours, and faulty original designs.
Our approach and outcome:
Worked with engineers to redesign foundations and storm systems. Took control of foul connections with minimal disruption. Installed a custom Hydrobreak storm system into SUDS pond.
